2026 Wild Hoofbeats Calendar

This 2026 calendar features beautiful and moving photos by Carol of the Wild Curly Horses of Salt Wells Creek. Salt Wells Creek is home to the largest population of wild curly horses in the world. Curly horses’ coats are often heavily curled in winter making them more resistant to cold temperatures. Their coats thin and manes and tails can molt in summer. Because they are rare and only occurring in two states, Wyoming and Nevada, they deserve to be preserved and protected. Proceeds from the sales of this calendar fund Carol Walker’s efforts to save America’s wild horses.
